that’s for sure!! i saw an op-ed saying Obama could just send a judge down there, and try those guys down there. it stated lots of precedent from previous presidents.

then i read a book review in the Sunday NYTimes, can’t recall the title, sounded like very hard going, but about a man who is obsessed with our personal complicity in the terrible things our country does. i am feeling very guilty about it. Holding people indefinitely without trial is UNCONSCIONABLE and UNAMERICAN…or it certainly used to be.
